Brian Williams
Owner of H&H Trading
rian recently concluded a 30-year career in the lumber industry and now serves as President of the Terrace & District Chamber of Commerce. With decades of experience in a cornerstone sector of the local economy, he brings a deep understanding of business, leadership, and the importance of strong community connections.
Brian is passionate about strengthening the role of the Chamber as a resource, advocate, and connector for local businesses. He recognizes the unique value the Chamber brings to economic development in Terrace and is committed to increasing its effectiveness and relevance for today’s business community.
He works closely with a dedicated volunteer Board of Directors to ensure the Chamber remains responsive, engaged, and focused on supporting businesses through collaboration, communication, and community involvement.
Brian welcomes feedback and conversation from local businesses and community members and is always open to discussing how the Chamber can better serve Terrace and District.

Michael Fernandes

As a lifelong resident of Terrace, British Columbia, Michael Fernandes is deeply committed to the community that helped shape him . He takes great pride in supporting the local businesses and initiatives which strengthen our region and drive sustainable growth. Michael strongly believes in Terrace’s potential and is dedicated to helping move our community forward on its path to long-term success. When he’s not at the shop working alongside his team to make it happen, you’ll find him exploring the bush, traveling the backroads, or spending time on the river—places that reflect both the character of our region and our connection to it.

Adam Tang
Position
Adam Tang began his business career in 1987 after graduating from a Chinese university with a major in English and Economics. He immigrated to Canada with his family in 1998, bringing with him extensive experience in Chinese business and government sectors. Since then, he has focused on cross-cultural business development and cultural exchange programs.
To better serve international businesses and organizations effectively, Adam earned a Master of Business Administration from the University of Northern British Columbia. This education strengthened his ability to bridge systematic and cultural differences between Eastern and Western business environments.
Currently, Adam Tang serves as a Board Director for the Terrace & District Chamber of Commerce. He looks forward to working closely with the Chamber team to position the Terrace region as a gateway and window to the global business community.

Treasurer
Rod Cox
Position or Company
Rod Cox brings more than forty years of experience in accounting, financial leadership, and general business management across a wide range of industries. A Certified Professional Bookkeeper and Accredited Director, Rod has long been recognized for his steady guidance, governance experience, and commitment to strong organizational leadership.
Rod’s involvement in boards and community organizations spans decades. He has served with the BC Games Society, the Institute of Professional Bookkeepers of Canada, Northern Savings Credit Union, and both the BC Chamber of Commerce and the Terrace & District Chamber of Commerce — returning to the local Chamber Board multiple times since 1978. He continues to serve provincially as a Governor with the BC Chamber of Commerce.
Throughout his career, Rod has been passionate about supporting healthy organizations, sound financial stewardship, and community-minded leadership. His depth of experience and long-standing commitment to Terrace make him a valued voice at the Chamber table.

Josh Papke
After serving two terms as President of the Terrace & District Chamber, Josh Papke is currently supporting the Board in an advisory capacity . Despite recently relocating to Edmonton, Josh and his wife (Christy) are still passionate about supporting Terrace, as Christy works remotely for a Terrace based company.
